We discovered Plano Taekwondo in May and both of our kids (4 and 7) have spent a lot of time there this summer and they love it! They look forward to the classes and really enjoy working with Miss Amanda. As a matter of fact they like it so much our little guy wanted to have his birthday party there and Amanda and her team did an incredible job. Fun, learning and games - it was a huge hit with kids and parents both!
Not only is this a great school where the instructors truly care about helping the students grow, they are also highly involved in their national organization. If you aren't familiar with martial arts let me tell you that it is crucial to find a school that is part of a national organization. The quality and degree of professionalism it offers is unparalleled.
Ms. Sullivan is a wonderful martial artist and a better person. You will not go wrong picking this school to train at. I highly recommend it.
Ms. Sullivan and all of her team are amazing instructors and truly have a passion for teaching. My son enjoys his Taekwondo classes and is learning a lot. They are all professionals, the facilities are clean and the system Ms. Sullivan uses is well structured and organized. We are overall satisfied and we will continue to use Plano Taekwondo America for my son to not only achieve his black belt status, but to gain more confidence, discipline and focus through this amazing program.

Like her Dad, Ms. Orkin started Taekwondo in 2018. After earning her black belt, she joined the leadership team and quickly found joy in sharing martial arts with others. Ms. Orkin was awarded the 2021 Instructor of the Year award for her dedication to helping students grow. When she’s not at the Taekwondo school, she can be found reading a book, hanging out with friends, or “doing SO much homework!”
